The BC Paraplegic Foundation (BCPF) provides bursaries to individuals with a spinal cord injury to support them with their post-secondary education. Awards vary in amounts up to $4,000. The BCPF’s bursaries are the result of several funds (listed below) established within the Foundation by generous individuals, companies and clubs interested in supporting the educational goals of SCI BC’s members:

The Foundation also determines annual award recipients for the James H.G. Roche Memorial Bursary, which is managed by the Vancouver Foundation and makes recommendations for the C.W. Deans and Joseph David Hall Memorial Awards distributed by UBC.
Applications for 2014 Bursaries are now being accepted with a deadline date of MAY 30, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria and submit complete application packages will be considered.
Rotary Club of Victoria/BC Paraplegic Association Bursary Fund
An award of $1250 is given annually to a student with a permanent mobility related disability (can be used for courses at Camosun College and University of Victoria as well as approved courses outside these institutions if not offered at UVic or Camosun).

University of Victoria
In-Course scholarships, medals and prizes administered by Student Awards and Financial Aid are available to undergraduate students who have attended the University of Victoria in the previous academic year.
