Great for losing weight

Ingredients

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 1 can of salmon (although I could suggest that we buy fresh salmon to cook and let people know at home they could use canned salmon for ease)
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dried unsweetened cranberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • pinch of black pepper

Serves 4

Salmon salad

Directions

  1. Combine lemon juice, salt and pepper in a bowl
  2. Wash and chop romaine lettuce
  3. Add sliced apples, cranberries and tarragon to lemon mixture
  4. Break salmon apart and add to salad
