Group Rides

A Group Ride is for participants riding our bikes who have completed a Bike Fitting and Clinic, and for people riding their own adaptive bikes. We have support to get you set up and have routes chosen for all levels of experience.

Come ride with us (your bike our ours!) as we check out off-street cycling trails around Metro Vancouver – the Arbutus Greenway, Central Valley Greenway, Confederation Park in Burnaby to name just a few!

These rides focus on fun, peer support and skill development – if you’ve ever wanted to ride a trail in Metro Vancouver, let us know!

Bringing your own adaptive bike? Make sure it’s in good repair – check your brakes, gear shifting, tires are inflated (we can help you top these up if you come early!), steering and bring any seating or straps you need to ride your bike.

Group Rides are 1-2 hours in length with up to 8 participants, led by Ride Leader Peter Chisholm. Rides are led by  Ride Leader Peter Chisholm and supported by volunteers to give you a hand getting your own bike set up or offer a hand getting into or using our bikes.

Riders with their own bikes can register directly on our Cycling BC club registration site using the coupon code 23SCIBC-25.

If you have completed an ABC+ session and don’t have your own bike, you can book one of ours to join a group ride! Contact Avery Albrecht to request a bike to use on a Group Ride.
