Celebrate ACCESSIBLE TOURISM by joining SCI BC for ACCESS BC DAY.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the impact accessible tourism is making to help our communities be more accessible and inclusive for everyone. This event will be open to the public and showcase our Access BC partners and all the programs and services available in your community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with other community groups that offer opportunities for people with disabilities in the tourism sector and learn about Spinal Cord Injury’s Access BC project to increase knowledge of universal design and accessible amenities in parks and outdoor spaces across BC.
Other activities include a Bike “Try It” (including toddler bikes, run bikes, and a handcycle mountain bike), various family activities, displays and a food truck will be on site!
Location: Mt. Abriel Trailhead (just north of Nakusp)
