Step back in time with your Northern BC Peers during a day trip to Barkerville Historic Town!

The National Historic Site is full of rich history told through storytelling, activities, interactive lessons, theatrical performances, gold panning, stagecoach rides and more!

We’ll be meeting at 11am, and Peers are welcome to stay until closing at 8pm if they wish! The entrance cost is covered by SCI BC, but you need to pack a lunch or money to purchase one at the restaurant or bakery on site.

According to their website, the Town is approximately 90-95% wheelchair accessible.

Please note: This is not located directly within Quesnel. The address is 14301 BC-26, Barkerville, BC V0K 1B0. It is approximately a one hour drive.

To join us for this fun historic adventure, please RSVP to Alison: peervolunteerq@sci-bc.ca!
