Event Details

Our session begins with an understanding of the history of photography and how it developed into what it is today. We hope to identify the subjects our students like to photograph, i.e. landscapes, portraits or other topics of interest. We will continue with discussions on composition, introduction to street photography, understanding the camera and camera lenses, flash photography and its intricacies, and finally, portrait photography. Students will be encouraged to bring images to the weekly sessions for critique and discussion. The overall goal is to create excitement about the photographic image, its power for change, and its relevance to our lives. We hope everyone continues with their photographic passion for self-fulfilment and enjoyment.

This session is hosted by Gabor Gasztonyi, an award winning photographer, author and filmmaker. Read more about Gabor here.
