The CBC’s CAPE program is back! Now in its fourth year, CAPE aims to kick-start the careers of persons with disabilities, eliminate barriers to employment, showcase the talents of this traditionally underrepresented group and generate more discussion, learning and content related to disability, accessibility and inclusion. 

This twelve-week paid program runs from September 13 to December 3, 2021.

To be eligible, all interested applicants must:

  • identify as a person with a disability*. 
  • submit a one-page letter of interest describing:
    • why they think this program is right for them and; 
    • what impact they think it could have on their career objectives. 
  • be able to work legally in Canada.  
  • be available for the assigned workweek during the program, to be discussed during the interview process (up to 38.75 hours – some roles have more flexibility).
