Policy and Data Careers in the public service are as varied as the number of departments and agencies in the Government of Canada.You could be working on:


• research, studies, forecasts and surveys

• economic or sociological effects of departmental or interdepartmental projects, programs and policies

• developing, analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative information and socio-economic policies and recommendations


• developing policies on guiding government investment programs and economic development activities

• participating in consultations and exploring various models to support government priorities

• developing strategic advice with regard to federal efforts

Positions require a bachelor’s degree with acceptable specialization in Economics, Sociology or Statistics. If you think that you have the specialization through a combination of education, training and experience, share this information in your application.
