Cottonwood Lake near Nelson, BC has new accessible fishing platform on the west side of the lake as of 2023. Cottonwood Lake has been stocked with rainbow and cutthroat trout. Kayaking and canoeing are permitted on this lake. There is parking close to the platform and improvements have been made to the access route surfaces, pit toilets, and shelter.
Anyone fishing or angling in British Columbia must have a BC Fishing Licence. For reduced fee licence application click here.
