The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) helps ease financial barriers to accessing oral health care for eligible Canadian residents with an annual adjusted family net income of less than $90,000 who do not have access to dental insurance. You must have a valid disability tax credit certificate unless you are a senior 65 and over.
Check the website to find out when you if you are eligible to apply and what will be covered.
Be aware that costs will not be fully covered, and some dentists are not opting into the plan. The website has a search function for participating dental offices. Check with your local dentist to find out if they are opting in and how much will be covered for you.
