Join us for an insightful presentation with Technology For Living (TFL)!
Ean Price, Peer Program Manager and Innovation Strategist at Technology For Living, and Robin Whyte, Vancouver Island Community Advisor, will share how TFL supports people with disabilities across British Columbia by providing innovative technology, resources, and services — all at no cost to members. They will discuss the impact of assistive devices, environmental controls and peer support in fostering independence and improving quality of life. Whether you’re curious about new technologies or looking for ways to connect, this session will offer valuable insights and opportunities.
About the speakers:
Ean Price is the Peer Program Manager and Innovation Strategist at Technology For Living, where he is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through assistive technology. As the owner of a small tech company, Ean has a passion for fostering independence through innovation. With years of experience developing and working with a wide range of assistive technologies, he brings valuable insight and expertise to his role. Ean, who has spinal muscular atrophy type 2, is a strong advocate for accessibility and inclusive design.
Robin Whyte is the Vancouver Island Community Advisor for Technology For Living, where she supports people with disabilities by connecting them with innovative assistive technology. A passionate Disability Advocate and professional Accessibility Consultant with Mosaic Access Consulting, Robin is committed to promoting inclusive spaces and universal design. Living with MS and navigating her community using a small mobility scooter, she brings firsthand experience to her work. She also runs Girl About Town: Accessible Victoria, a website dedicated to reviewing local restaurants and attractions for accessibility. Through her work, Robin empowers others to live more independently and enjoy their communities to the fullest.
