Liza grew up in the Philippines and obtained her BA in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of the East Philippines.
She moved to Canada in 2008 and found gratification working in her field within the non-profit sector for organizations such as Scouts Canada and Pacific Community Resources Society. Her core values align with helping people and their families, especially those who are struggling and in need of support, which makes working for a non-profit a rewarding experience.
In Liza’s spare time, she loves cooking traditional dishes from the Philippines—she’s so good at it that she’s called on to cater small events for her community!
When she’s not working or creating in the kitchen, you can find her with her husband and children camping, kayaking, and hiking (nice weather only!) in the forests and on the beaches.
