Apply for up to $20,000 in lifetime funding for home renovations to increase the accessibility of your home. This program replaces the Home Adaptations for Independence (HAFI) program.
There are upper income limits and home value limits (which vary across the province). Check out the BC Housing site to determine whether or not you are eligible and to find the application form. An assessment by an Occupational Therapist may be required for some renovations.
Be aware that you need to apply to the program first before doing any work. Once you are approved and the work has been completed, you need to pay the contractor yourself and then wait to be reimbursed by the program.
