If you have a qualifying disability, you may be eligible to register for the fuel tax refund program. Once you are registered for the program, you can apply for a percentage refund of the provincial fuel tax you pay on fuel used in your vehicle based on your fuel receipts. First you need to apply to register in the program; once you have a registration number you can apply for the refund. There is maximum rebate of $500 per calendar year. Save your gas receipts and complete the refund form.
