The Makehouse Co-op has sewing machines available for customers to use for a small fee in their store, as well as sewing classes. The sewing studio features Janome 3120QCD machines with a pedal free sewing option. This machine has a start/stop button, which will make sewing much easier for some people with disabilities. Work tables are height-adjustable. There is a ramp to a raised concrete “walkway” that surrounds the store. Some users may find the turning spaces within the store a little small.
