Medical Services Only provides continued access to certain health supplements for people who were on PWD and left for employment (income restrictions may apply), are over 65 and no longer eligible for PWD, or who receive high enough CPP disability coverage to make them ineligible for PWD eligibility.

Only some supplements covered under PWD are eligible for coverage under MSO. These include medical equipment and supplies, dental services, and medical transportation. For full eligibility and supplement information, see the Ministry or call InfoLine for more information.

Certain people who are not eligible for PWD and do not fit into the categories above may receive help due to a Life Threatening Health Need (as defined by the Ministry). Please read the criteria carefully as most people do not qualify under this section of the Ministry rules. Full eligibility can be viewed here:
