What year did you participate in the Charity Challenge

I believe I joined the SCI BC Board in 2010 and participated every year! Except for one or two years when my nephew was getting married in Victoria, and a couple of years ago, when there was a family birthday I attended.

What was your favourite part about the event when you participated?

It’s always great to see everybody down at Stanley Park; however, the last couple of years we have had the pleasure of doing the event with our goddaughter, who is very enthusiastic. See photos!

Why did you decide to sign up and help raise money for SCI BC?
I will have been a member of the organization for 39 years this summer, and on the Board of Directors since 2010.  SCI BC has done a lot for me over the years, and continues to help many people in their recovery and beyond.

I am always happy to be involved with organizations that make such a positive impact on people’s lives.

What have you been up to since you last raced with us?

I’m still appraising commercial real estate. I was hoping to write the test last year to finish off my designation; however, getting used to a new wheelchair put things on hold for a while. I am starting to feel better so, hopefully it’s all good from here!
