About the instructor: Hello there! My name is Aida, and I’m a Certified Fitness Instructor. I’m also a dancer/choreographer. I started dancing when I was in kinder, and since then I became active in all school dancing events. I was in grade one when I started leading a physical education (P.E.) and dancing inside our classroom, and my teacher called me as the youngest dancing instructor (D.I.) in our elementary school way back in the Philippines. As I grow older my love in Fitness become stronger and stronger.
My mother told me that on the 5th month of her pregnancy with me, she always woke up in the middle of the night to deal with my dancing and exercise movements in her tummy. At the age of 5-year-old I started competing with my cousins either dancing or sport in our local community. I was in grade one when I did my first hula competition in the school, and I won the 2nd place and that was the beginning of my leadership in Fitness. I became very active in every community I moved in.
I graduated here in Canada with a TOTAL FITNESS LEADERSHIP EDUCATION (Diploma). A Personal Trainer, Boot Camp/Gym Instructor/Certified Older Adult instructor, Osteofit Instructor, Water Instructor (Aquasize exercise in the swimming pool), Active hand instructor (for patrons with disabilities in all ages), Fitness Theory, Nutrition and Weight Loss adviser.
My favorite sports: Volleyball and table tennis, and my Fave Quotes: “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” (by Zig Ziglar)
