Grow older and wiser with The Road Ahead Education Series! Aging with SCI isn’t about slowing down, it’s about steering forward.

Custom assistive technology is changing how people with disabilities tackle daily tasks. Join Tetra’s Eric Molendyk for an inside look at how their volunteers work with clients to design and build assistive devices that are custom-made for the individual – these are devices that are either not available commercially or cost-prohibitive. As a non-profit organization, Tetra covers the full cost of each project (materials up to $500 and volunteer travel), thanks to ongoing fundraising that keeps the program accessible for everyone.

About Eric: Eric Molendyk has been involved with the Tetra Society since 2001. Eric is currently the manager of Tetra, the Adaptive Sailing Association and the British Columbia Mobility Opportunities Society. Erica seen first hand the difference that customized devices can and is always excited to see what will be created next.
