Are transfers to and from your wheelchair becoming more difficult? Wondering if extra support could make things safer and easier? Join GF Strong Occupational Therapist and Educator Cynthia Morin for an educational session on the wide range of transfer aids available. Cynthia will cover how different aids work, what to consider when choosing one and how the right tools can make transfers smoother and safer for all levels of mobility. The session will begin with a short presentation, followed by an Q&A period.

About Cynthia Morin:

Cynthia Morin is a clinical occupational therapist and educator in the spinal cord injury program at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre. She has worked with people who have spinal cord injuries and spinal cord impairments throughout the province of British Columbia for over 15 years. Her clinical areas of practice include also include the spine wound clinic and spine upper extremity clinic. She has also held the position of clinical liaison at Praxis (formerly Rich Hansen Institute), and has an interested in clinical spinal cord research.
