This document provides a list of beaches in British Columbia that are equipped with a Mobi-mat or beach wheelchairs to rent or other type of accessible path to the beach or into the water.
Interior
Kamloops:
Riverside Park Beach, 100 Lorne St.
Mobi-mat available. Park also includes an accessible playground, waterpark, and trail.
Kelowna:
Boyce-Gyro Beach, 3400 Lakeshore Rd.

Rotary Beach, 3726 Lakeshore Rd.
Free beach wheelchair onsite. Note that the washrooms at this park are NOT accessible.
Strathcona Beach, 2290 Abbott St.

Nelson:
Lakeside Rotary Park Beach, Lakeside Dr.
Paddle Rental Centre has a beach wheelchair for rent, summers only. Contact for exact opening times. Mobi-mat also available.
Osoyoos:
Both beaches have Mobi-mats and paved walkways. Beach wheelchairs are available in a trailer, currently located at Gyro Beach, but the trailer can be moved to other locations with prior approval. Call 250 495-6562
Penticton:
Okanagan Lake Beach, near Power Dr. in Penticton
Accessible walkway to the beach. Access west of Lakawanna Park in Penticton, with a concrete ramp to the water.
