Accessible Fishing – Green Timbers Lake, Surrey

Green Timbers Lake in the Green Timbers Urban Forest in Surrey is stocked with trout. The park has an accessible fishing dock, and an accessible bathroom is nearby. The park will loan fishing sets out for a week at a time. A person who holds a fishing license may catch two trout per day if they plan to eat them or they can catch and release them.

The Surrey Nature Centre (within Green Timbers Park) has accessible parking at its main entrance (across the street from RCMP E Division Headquarters 14200 Green Timbers Way, Surrey — on Google Maps, these locations look blocks apart, although they are directly across from each other) and an accessible bathroom in the main building is available during open hours.   They also have a bird watching group, nature trails and community education.

Anyone fishing or angling in British Columbia must have a BC Fishing Licence. For reduced fee licence application click here.
