This checklist will help you identify accessibility problems and solutions in existing facilities. While the Americans with Disabilities Act regulations are not enforceable in Canada, they are a good standard to strive for. The goal of the survey process is to plan how to make an existing facility more usable for people with disabilities by identifying obstacles and solutions. While the guideline doesn’t cover every accessibility requirement in the ADA, it includes the most important ones.
