The Caledonia Ramblers, a hiking club in Prince George, has built an accessible boardwalk so that everyone can enjoy the Ancient Forest.
The boardwalk enables visitors in wheelchairs, those with other mobility challenges, people who are visually impaired, seniors, parents with strollers, and everyone else to experience the only inland temperate rainforest in the world that is so far from the ocean. There are accessible outhouses and picnic tables.
You can access this area 113 kilometres east of Prince George, on Highway 16.
