CRIS Adaptive Adventures

Updated on October 4, 2024

The Adaptive Adventures program provides day and evening excursions that run throughout the Okanagan region of beautiful British Columbia.

These programs are specifically designed to enable all people regardless of disability to enjoy the benefits of outdoor recreation. These programs include cycling, hiking, and kayaking for the spring and summer. As for winter, programs consist of Sherpa hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

All of the programs vary in location and suit a variety of interests. Whether it is an informative hike that you seek or a huge water fight out on the water, Adaptive Adventures programs provide an experience for all to enjoy – no matter their age or ability. These trips are typically 2 hours long and time-based programs.

There is also an Adaptive Youth Adventures program specifically designed for participants under the age of 29.
