VCH and GF Strong Rehabilitation offer assessments and driver training. To qualify into the program, candidates must be at least 16 years of age and have a physical disability, or a physical disability with a cognitive deficit from illness or injury. A referral from a physician or the Medical Consultant of the Office of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles is required. An assessment report will be sent to the referring agencies. The centre has a qualified staff consisting of a certified driver rehab specialist, and specially trained licensed driving instructors who provide the driving lessons.
