If you live in Vancouver or in Greater Victoria and you have only occasional need for a vehicle, you may want to consider carsharing. Modo is a carsharing service that offers different membership options to suit your needs and you pay per trip based on the distance you travel and how long you have the vehicle.
Modo has one accessible van in each city with a folding ramp at the rear entrance and tie-downs. Note that they don’t have hand controls at this time, but they are considering adding them to future vehicles.
For new members, Modo is currently offering $50 in free driving credits when you use the promo code TRYMODO. If you’re an organization that wants to join as a business member, Modo will waive the $250 registration fee and provide $50 in driving credits.
