The Paralyzed Veterans is one of the biggest SCI organizations in the US and has a wealth of information on spinal cord research, rehabilitation, resources, support groups and life after an injury. It is a great place to get started. There is also a section on clinical guidelines for health care professionals related to spinal cord injury, which will be particularly beneficial for those who don’t have much experience with SCI.
