Registered Disability Savings Plan

Updated on January 2, 2025

The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is available to help people with disabilities and their families to save for the future. To help you save, the Government will pay a matching Canada Disability Savings Grant of up to $3,500 a year on your contributions. The Government will also pay a Canada Disability Savings Bond of up to $1,000 a year into the RDSPs of low-income and modest-income Canadians. No contributions are necessary to receive the bond. Earnings accumulate tax-free, until money is taken out of the RDSP and contributions do not affect your PWD status.

You can also check out www.rdsp.com for easy to understand information and step-by-step guides to get you started.
