These online modules were developed in Australia by the Agency for Clinical Innovation and are aimed at health professionals who are working with clients with an acquired spinal cord injury or similar neurological condition to gain knowledge and skill in the practice of seating and wheeled mobility prescription.
This resource can be suggested to professionals to enhance their knowledge, or used by people with SCI to gain understanding of the types of equipment and seating needs that would be most appropriate. While it should not replace a seating assessment by a professional, it will be useful for those who are trying to buy used equipment or who don’t have timely access to a professional.
