The Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Centre of BC

Updated on February 12, 2025

These Crisis Centres provide a number of 24/7 crisis lines and a youth online option, as well as providing community education to schools and organizations across BC. The staff and volunteers are well-trained in dealing with suicidal callers, a variety of crisis situations and helping callers talk through their problems. There are a number of crisis centres in BC. For the one closest to you, check out the website. Anytime the local centres cannot arrange volunteer coverage, the numbers connect directly into the province-wide line, so you will always be able to reach someone.
