For any woman who has had a difficult pap exam in the past, or for women with disabilities for whom transferring to an exam table or getting undressed is difficult, this clinic located in Vancouver will make regular screening easier. The staff have been specially trained in disability issues. Women can self-refer but do need to have a family doctor to whom results can be sent.
While women from across the province are eligible, those who cannot travel to the clinic from other parts of the province can call the Women’s Access Clinic to ask about local resources or suggestions.
