Meet Kristi Leer! An SCI BC peer from Fort Nelson, BC and a mother of two. Four years ago she wasn’t sure how she could continue providing for her children considering how her abilities as a parent had changed after she was injured in a motor vehicle accident.
She’s found raising a 5 year old and a 9 year old while recovering from breaking her neck to be quite the journey. In this group, she would love to hear about what parenting after SCI has been like for you, and to share the ups and downs together.
