Angela Scott

Angela was born and raised in the beautiful capital of Victoria, BC. After graduating from the University of Victoria with a combined degree in Biology and Psychology, she moved to the Lower Mainland in search of a fresh start and new career opportunities. While she has worked in a variety of fields including unions, healthcare, and the TV/film industry, this is her first time working in the not-for-profit sector, where she hopes to make a positive impact.

Outside of her professional life, Angela lives with her spouse, Lindsay, and their three beloved cats: Nuna, Azula, and Asami—two of whom are named after characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. She also may or may not have a section of the closet dedicated to her cats’ costumes and seasonal collars.

In her free time, she enjoys crafting, consuming books in any format she can get her hands on, building LEGO, painting watercolor art, spending time gardening, and trying out the newest board games with friends and family. Angela also maintains her two-year streak on Duolingo where she is learning three languages – Ukrainian, French, and Mandarin (Chinese). With a curious mind and a love for both the old and the new, she continues to explore life through a variety of creative and intellectual pursuits.
