He’s known throughout the world as the groundbreaking creator of Wheelchair Rugby, but in BC, Duncan is much loved for his long career in therapeutic recreation at GF Strong Rehab Centre in Vancouver. At GF Strong, he introduced countless people with SCI to wheelchair sports, handcycling and motivated them to keep exploring and trying new things. The Quadfather is still active in building and supporting rugby in BC when he’s not raising his young family and working out at the gym every day. Duncan joins SCI BC bringing a passion for supporting peers who are aging with SCI to live healthy, active lives.
