Far Out Recreation is a non-profit organization based out of Nanaimo that designs and implements adaptive and inclusive outdoor recreation programs that provide all people the opportunity to actively participate in outdoor recreation. Research has shown the immense impact time spent in our natural surroundings has on our overall health and well-being; however, many individuals find themselves at a massive disadvantage when attempting to access trails and enroll in various outdoor recreation programs.
Programs include guided hikes with a TrailRider, TrailRider rentals, kayaking programs, double kayak rentals, adapted fitness, and much more.
This organization currently needs to be contacted by phone if you would like to rent the Trailrider. The non-profit is on hold.
