About the Speaker: Dr. Ian Rigby

Ian is a Calgary based physician with practises both Emergency Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He completed his medical school at the University of Calgary and a residency in Emergency Medicine at Queens University. Academically he is very involved in medical education at the University of Calgary and is a Clinical Associate Professor there. He became a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2022 and enjoys working with his patients on their journey to improved health.
