Services offered include: phone and in-person consultations about problems encountered when living with Parkinson’s, education for communities and health professionals, a quarterly newsletter, an annual educational conference, a lending library, support groups, and a partnership with the Pacific Parkinson’s Research Centre at UBC. With about 11,000 British Columbians living with Parkinson’s disease, it is the second most common chronic neuro-degenerative disorder.
