A somewhat accessible trail is available at Dugan Lake with access to a dock to fish from. The trail is steeper than 1:12; going down to the dock is easy, but have someone available to help push you and your fish back up. The trail runs along the lake shore for a ways as well.
Dugan Lake is located in the Central Cariboo Region of BC, about 24 km east of Williams Lake on the Horsefly Lake Road. Turn off Highway 97 onto the Horsefly Rd. at 150 Mile House. About 2.41 km past the junction of the Horsefly and Likely Roads, you will turn off the Horsefly Rd onto the Dugan Lake Rd.
The accessible path was created by locals with some regional district funding. They completed a lakeside path and put railings on the dock so no one can roll into the lake.
Search for Dugan Lake on the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC map of accessible docks to see some recent pictures of the dock.
