BC Civil Liberties Association

Updated on August 8, 2024

The BCCLA has actively advanced human rights and civil liberties for over 60 years, through litigation, law reform, community-based legal advocacy, and public engagement and education.

Their work focuses on change at the systemic level. This means they’re actively engaged in changing law and policy through strategic litigation, research, advocating to decision-makers, running public education campaigns, and developing legal information guides, factsheets, and workshops about your rights.

They don’t offer direct legal assistance, representation, advice, or referrals but they do have lots of resources about the law and where to find further information.
