Formerly known at the BC Coalition for People with Disabilities, Disability Alliance BC activities include providing experienced disability advocacy for individuals and groups. Advocates are highly experienced in helping people with disabilities to apply for benefits or appeal the denial of benefits, among other issues. They know which questions to ask, who to contact and which supporting documents are most important.
Disability Alliance BC also has a Tax Aid program and can help people apply for the Disability Tax Credit.
